Investing into the stock market can be scary. No one really knows how the market will perform on a day to day basis, making it hard to know for certain that you will make money. While this is true, people who invest for the long run and don't worry about every single day usually perform better. Another thing people have a problem with is that it's not a physical asset, meaning you can't touch it and feel it. However, that is not the case. Think about all the products you use on a day to day basis. Your iPhone is a product of Apple, your Gmail account is owned by Google, and your shoes might be Nike, all of which are publicly traded companies on the stock market.
